editŽljeb mountain is better known name of this mountain. On google search, Žljeb gives 69,300 hits [1], or Žljeb mountain [2] that gives 322 hits, while "Mali i Zhlebit" [[3]] gives only 4, wiki being 2 of them, and other 2 wiki mirrors!!! The name Mali i Zhlebit is also controversial and is never used in Serbia, while the name Žljeb is more neutral, and accurate. Tadija (talk) 15:59, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
- Support This is good proposition, regarding NPOV. Vanjagenije (talk) 19:18, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Zhleb
editTo Antidiskriminator: 'Mali i Zhlebit' means the mountain of Zhleb. Dirifer (talk) 16:48, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- This is English language wikipedia. Zero English Google Books hits means that no English language sources refer to this mountain as Mali i Zhlebit.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 17:46, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, i don't mean change the name to 'Mali i Zhlebit'. What i mean is that if this is translated to ENGLISH, it would say mountain of Zhleb. I think Zhleb is also a suitable name for the article. Dirifer (talk) 18:11, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- I don't understand why would English language sources use Albanian transliteration? Anyway, until Albanian transliteration becomes widely used in English language sources it would be wrong to add it.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 18:16, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- It should at least be given as an alternate name. I know it wouldn't be accepted as a primary name, but it should be allowed as a secondary name. As well as that, the people living around the mountain and in the area would not call it Zljeb, so Zhleb should at least be shown as an alternate. Dirifer (talk) 18:36, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- Also, i found this [[4]] Dirifer (talk) 18:44, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- Alternative name is also a name which is widely used in English language sources. Zhleb is not. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 21:32, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- I provided you with a source. Isn't that enough? This article regarding Gracanica monastery says that the monastery is located in Serbia, based on one (outdated) source. If one source is enough for that article, why not for this one? Dirifer (talk) 15:08, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- The source you brought does not mention mountain but "Zhleb highlands". There are more than 20 hits on English GBS for Žljeb, zero (except one for Zhleb highlands). That means that Zhleb is not widely used in English language sources. Gračanica is irrelevant here, but I will take a look at that article.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 17:14, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- If I am not wrong, the discussion at Gračanica Moanstery talk page was not about the alternative name but the country. That discussion is completely irrelevant for this discussion about the alternative name of Žljeb mountain. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 17:41, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

- Yes, i know. I wasn't using it is as an example for the name, i was saying that one source is enough. Dirifer (talk) 19:05, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- One source is not enough to prove that certain name is widely used on English language sources.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 20:15, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- Ok. So then why is one source enough in this article to prove that the monestary is in Serbia, when it clearly is not? Dirifer (talk) 09:29, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
- That is something which is irrelevant for this discussion and should be discussed at the Gračanica Monastery talk page. I guess you would like to hear my opinion about it so I will give it at the appropriate talk page.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 20:08, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Thanks for your post on the talk page. I will leave this discussion regarding Zhleb until (if) more books are made showing that Zhleb is used. Until that happens (if it happens), i will not edit this article. Thanks for your replies on this talk. I know that you sometimes seem irritated by my posts and edits, but thanks for continuing to reply anyway. Dirifer (talk) 18:41, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

Name
edit(Bobrayner moved page Žljeb mountain to Mali i Zhlebit over redirect: Dubious undiscussed move. Try getting a consensus through WP:RM first). "Mali i Zhlebit" has 0 Gbook hits = using this name is against policies, and the actual Albanian name used should be presented with a reliable source here.--Zoupan 22:59, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
