WP:CONSISTENT with other legislature related articles. — Hemant Dabral (📞) 07:16, 25 March 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. 🐶 EpicPupper (he/him | talk) 07:19, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is a contested technical request (permalink). GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 04:50, 27 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hemant Dabral, Assembly and Legislative assembly are two different terms. The proposed title lacks WP:RECOGNIZABILITY and seems it needs to go through move request discussion. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 09:26, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
In Indian political context the term 'Assembly' generally refers to any of the State legislative assemblies of India. Many electoral districts articles in India bear the name 'Assembely' such as constituencies listed in the List of constituencies of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, List of constituencies of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly etc. The word 'Assembly' is employed as a short form naming convention across the Indian state legislature related articles. — Hemant Dabral (📞) 09:34, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
As i can see, State legislative assemblies of India, List of constituencies of the Delhi Legislative Assembly or List of constituencies of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly still use legislative than just assembly. In the Indian subcontinent, assembly refers to various terms, for example, school assembly, general assembly etc. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 11:32, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Should I move this to the "Contested" section then? ~StyyxTalk? 14:56, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Moved to contested, seemingly not uncontroversial. Polyamorph (talk) 15:24, 26 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

It is necessary to use the word "Legislative Assembly in these articles because only the 'Assembly' word does not indicate that we are talking in the context of the legislative assembly. Here only the word assembly can have several meanings. Itsrahulkashyap (talk) 07:12, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
