Year in topic
editI think the page layout for "year in topic" in some places where it is flagged in the box as on this page 1921, 1922 is better. I seek opinions before making them all the same.
In this case the by topic duplication under television would go from this page BozMo(talk)
In the unknown dates it states that the construction of the Maginot Line started in 1928, whereas every other resource I've seen says 1930. Could someone confirm this? Until then I'll take it off.
I'm removing "March 11 - Blizzard in England; In London temperature drops to 9 degrees Celsius". 9 degrees C is way above freezing. Can someone check this one out? fabiform | talk 30 June 2005 18:40 (UTC)
- Since 1959, temperature in London ranged from -3.8 to 27 °C (mean monthly minimum to mean monthly maximum). There were only 11 years when the mean monthly minimum went below 0 °C. I could not find any reliable data before 1959. See http://www.metoffice.com/climate/uk/stationdata/index.html
- There is a claim of -9 °C at http://www.personal.dundee.ac.uk/~taharley/british_weather_in_march.htm. The text that you found may be a misquote of that. I don't know if it is reliable enough source to be included here. Bobblewik (talk) 30 June 2005 20:07 (UTC)
List page says she died June 4, main page says June 14 (correct). Don't know how to amend, can some Wikipedian do this? 90.152.3.218 (talk) 12:48, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Pictures
editThe German site for this year has some nice pictures, whereas this English version only has one picture. Can't we add some good pictures?211.225.34.49 (talk) 08:43, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
