Ferrari 250 LM vs 275 LM
editI had originally written the article up using the model name Ferrari 275LM as that is what it has been called by most of the book-literature.

I agree that I have seen some racing websites that refer to it as a 250LM in their results tables. The 275 was a closed-top evolution of the 1963 race-winning 250P with a bigger engine. Although Ferrari had a variety of naming nomenclature for its models, at this time for the V12 he was naming them based on the individual cylinder size: The 1963 race-winning Ferrari 250 had a 3-litre V12 (therefore 3000 ÷12 =250) whereas the 275LM had moved up to a 3.3 litre V12 (3300 ÷12 =275) hence the differentiation. The 1964 race-winner was called the 275P (a 3.3-litre engine) as was the 1965 race-winning 275LM, and 275P2 entrants. This is mentioned in the wiki-article on Ferrari: Ferrari#naming conventions. In that same race was the 330P2 named for its 4.0-litre V12 and the 365 P2 with its 4.4-litre V12. Hence I would prefer to see the edit revert to what it was previously, maintaining the model-naming consistency. Philby NZ (talk) 06:42, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
