In my opinion, the India history group should have many more dates and more substantial entries for 1976 (and other years). India's history, even its recent history, is much to rich and diverse to be limited to only a few minor entries such as this. This stub should either be filled out by people knowledgeable about India or deleted as a biased stub mentioning only the one item mentioned. I do not know what else of importance occurred in India in the year 1976, but surely some additional occurences merit entry for this year.
