NPOV Issues (January 2024)
editI have added the Template:POV banner to this article. The sources appear to me to be uniformly predominantly Indian/Hindu/Kashmiri Hindu. I have found a source which appears reliable and causes me to question the neutrality of this article further: Hussain, Shahla (2021). Kashmir in the Aftermath of Partition. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. doi:10.1017/9781108780995. ISBN 978-1-108-49046-7. See especially starting page 303, including discussions about violence against Muslims, more neutral discussion of issues around temples/mosques, and intergroup violence. - I want to clarify, there is at least one source which I think may not be Indian/Hindu/Kashmiri Hindu, the AP article [1], although it does not support many of the statements made here, and is a contemporary news source and so is not the best source either. I have edited my initial comment. BananaCarrot152 (talk) 19:22, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

editI am not seeing substantive coverage of this topic in any solid sources. The three sources in the article that discuss this event at all are Aiyar, Pandit, and Tikoo; of these, Aiyar is contesting the narrative presented here, and the other two are from marginal publishers. Furthermore, there isn't much substance to any of them; all of the content could be covered at Timeline of the Kashmir conflict. Vanamonde93 (talk) 03:53, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
