Re: User:VEO15's change yesterday, shouldn't we use the CIS flag instead of the Soviet Union flag for Dynamo Kyiv? The CIS was established halfway through the season, so I think they would have taken over as the participating nation. – PeeJay00:25, 10 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
They qualified through the USSR berth and they were the representing the USSR in the competition, that's why I changed it. The UEFA website is of no help as it lists teams of dissolved states by their current one, they have Dynamo Kiev representing Ukraine that season and Red Star Belgrade representing Serbia in 1990–91. However considering this, I would revert the nationality of Sergei Yuran in the top scorers table back to the CIS. VEOonefive01:11, 10 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Forgot about the German reunification, I believe the East/West German clubs should revert to their former associations. Bizarrely, UEFA does make the distinction in this case. VEOonefive01:24, 10 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
