Gowda was not Projected
editDeva Gowda was not Projected as the PM candidate before the elections .Lalu was the President of Janata Dal then.Just as in 1991 Rajiv Gandhi led the campiagn and in 2004 Sonia led the Campaign and there Manmohan and Narasimha Rao are not mentioned.182.65.15.30 (talk) 14:40, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- Agree with this Lalu Prasad Yadav was the leader of the Janata Dal.Deva Gowda became the leader only after the elections and hence Lalu should be mentioned as the leader .In 2004 Sonia Gandhi is mentioned rightly as she led the campaign through Mammohan Singh became the PM Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 08:03, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- I have a doubt. Did INC projected P. V. Narasimha Rao as PM candidate before 1991 election? XYZ 250706 (talk) 03:54, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
- P. V. Narasimha Rao became the leader of the Congress party midway through the elections as the Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi took place after the 1st phase of voting. But here Gowda became the PM after V.P.Singh and Jyoti Basu declined. In 2004 Sonia Gandhi is mentioned not manmohan singh.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 04:09, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
