Removed importance tag
editAfter the deletion debate, there's not really much sense in keeping the tag up. The references already in place demonstrate that its synthesis has been discussed, and there's not much more to this molecule. It's not really used for much as it is. --Slashme (talk) 15:16, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
1-chlorohexane or 2-chlorohexane?
editPardon my ignorance, but should'it be 2-chlorohexane? --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 01:20, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, that's what I'm thinking too, but I have no way to verify this. –Jérôme (talk) 23:47, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
- It is 1-chlorohexane. Secondary carbonium ion is more stable and preferred. JSR (talk) 00:00, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
