edit- "Thirty drivers representing sixteen nationalities were invited to participate by the Macau Grand Prix Committee." Was there any method to the invitations? I'm more curious myself, but if there is a way to note that as well it would be good to include.
- No further information is available for this unfortunately. MWright96 (talk) 07:06, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
- I feel the history of the Macau Grand Prix (currently the final paragraph of the "Background and entry list" section) would be better moved to the top, as it better flows into the 2000 edition and gives context to everything.
- "Slower traffic delayed Cochet and he lost him seven chances at a full-speed lap on the tight circuit and he took third." A little confused here, mainly due to the "he lost him seven chances..." This all refers to Cochet, yes? If so I would reword it to be clearer: "he lost seven chances..."
- "Collins was the highest-placed British competitor in 15th." Is there a specific reason to single out the top British competitor? I don't see any other nationalities noted like this, so am interested.
Other than the above I don't see anything else. Will be happy to promote after all is addressed. Kaiser matias (talk) 20:09, 9 November 2019 (UTC)

- This article is a newly promoted GA and is new enough and long enough. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright or plagiarism issues. The hook facts are only partially cited inline. The caption to an image makes it clear that there has been a former Macanese driver who has won the race, so the article needs to make it clear what record Couto actually broke. A cited statement somewhere about when the race became a Formula Three event would do. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:34, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth: Have reworded to say Couto was the first winner of the race under Formula Three regulations since it became as such in 1983. MWright96 (talk) 08:18, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:13, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
