Home team
editI know A.C. Milan was regarded as the "home" team in the 2007 UEFA Super Cup, but I'd like to know why this is. Is the UEFA Champions League winner always given the "home" team berth? I'm fairly sure there was a time when it was always the Cup Winners' Cup winner (now UEFA Cup winner) that was given the "home" team slot. – PeeJay 07:21, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'm just curious that why you don't know. It is according to the article 1.01 in the UEFA Super Cup regulation. It says,
The competition, in which the winners of the previous season's UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup are automatically invited to complete, is organised by UEFA at the start of each season. The winner of the UEFA Champions League is considered as the home team while the winner of the UEFA Cup is considered as the visiting team. The competition takes place in August.

- I'm curious as to why I didn't think to look there in the first place. Cheers dude. – PeeJay 08:28, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Wrong formations
editZenit played 4-3-3, Danny was left forward, Pogrebnyak was CF, Dominguez was right forward. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.77.15.14 (talk) 05:14, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Wrong. At the time, UEFA said that Zenit played 4-3-1-2, with Danny as the "1". – PeeJay 16:18, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
