Zikim Naval Operation → 2014 Zikim attack – Zikim attack per WP:Commonname - for example as in [1] [2]; article name is ambiguous due to the 2023 Battle of Zikim Marokwitz (talk) 20:05, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

- Why not move it to Battle of Zikim (2014)? This seems to be less of an attack and more of a clash between two military forces.VR talk 22:18, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose "battle" per Longhornsg - because it is more commonly referred to by other terms in RS. (While we're at it, the "battle" might not be the best word for the 2023 event either?) SaintPaulOfTarsus (talk) 19:56, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Marginally support, but prefer 2014 Zikim infiltration for accuracy and per WP:COMMONNAME. Oppose "battle". No source uses this and per the events, Hamas frogmen came ashore, conducted an attack, then were killed. One-sided offensive. Not really a battle.
- Al-Jazeera calls it an attack and raid
- Times of Israel calls it an attack
- Jpost calls it an infiltration
- Times of Israel calls it an attack and infiltration
- Guardian calls it an assault
- Atlantic calls it an infiltration

- "Attack" seems more common than "battle" or "infiltration". Marokwitz (talk) 10:21, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Attack is fine. Was thinking "infiltration" was more accurate. But almost anything is better than the current title lol Longhornsg (talk) 19:58, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

- Support with "infiltration" second choice. Coretheapple (talk) 23:04, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
