London Welsh
editAlthough London Welsh's matches will not appear in the league table at the end of the year, the results should not be deleted. The matches occurred, and this article will be a reference. Jowaninpensans (talk) 18:52, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- I have mentioned this on another page but this London Welsh liquidation seems to have caused a degree of chaos. Like Jowaninpensans I think that we should keep the current results that have involved London Welsh (as I have done with the British and Irish Cup) including attendances in those games and also the scorers. If you were to eliminate all traces of the games involving London Welsh you would need to remove all attendances involving the club and the top scorers/try scorers list would have to change. A suggestion is that a note is added to each result reinforcing the fact that the game does not count as far as the league table is concerned but that other elements such as attendances and player stats do. Otherwise you have a near impossible task which would be plagued with further inaccuracies. (Jgjsmith006) 18:15, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
- Agree, leave LW in there because we can't deny they didn't take part in it. Just a note near the top that LW were expelled for being liquidated and the phoenix entity did not present a valid case to keep them competing in rest of the season. The C of E God Save the Queen! editLondon Scottish entry appears to be wrong as it's just a duplicate of London Irish — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.155.177.38 (talk) 07:28, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
