Please, in last paragraph of status section, it's said that Serb militants entered Kosovo, for which there is no proof. All the arrested and killed were Serbs from Kosovo, which further implies that the "entering" phrase is totally incorrect until some evidence is provided. Please fix it for the purpose of the truth. Thank you ! ConsciousRip (talk) 12:12, 29 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 09:51, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

2022–present North Kosovo crisisNorth Kosovo crisis (2022–present) – The current title is not grammatical, and a reader wouldn’t expect to have to enter “2022 present” to search for the article, they would type “north kosovo crisis”. Basically all other articles about ongoing events spanning multiple years use the format with the date range at the end. in parentheses. HappyWith (talk) 15:59, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Support - proposed format is generally more preferable than the present. estar8806 (talk) 20:15, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
support- most wars, Crisis article use that format and I agree it is more preferable. HuntersHistory (talk) 21:40, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Support - It's preferable to have the disambiguator after the name. Yung Doohickey (talk) 05:33, 8 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Support - A lot of articles have the conflict name before the date. For example, Myanmar protests (2021–present) or Western Iran clashes (2016–present). Overthrow-dictator (talk) 10:47, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Possible name change

edit

The dispute appears to have been concluded in December 2023 with both sides now recognising each others car registration plates, so maybe change name to North Kosovo crisis (2022–23) Ânes-pur-sàng (talk) 17:03, 3 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, was about to make some edits and realized that the topic of the current article is not very clear. North Kosovo is an unstable region that produces crises non-stop, but this article is about the 2022-23 crisis, which was specifically triggered by the licence plates issue. I think there should be some master article about the crises in north Kosovo, where minor skirmishes etc can be covered; though the 2022-23 crisis has been resolved in my opinion. Of course that doesn't mean there won't be another crisis in 2024 or 2025, but that would certainly be because of other possible causes, which are not few in this region.
