To not merge, as the topics are distinct. Klbrain (talk) 06:50, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

This appears to be the extent of the coverage for the time being. For a current event, this article did not grow much in the immediate aftermath; I would say we should merge these two articles unless and until more details emerge. This does not seem to be notable in a manner independent of the political crisis of which it is part. Zeke, the Mad Horrorist (Speak quickly) (Follow my trail) 18:29, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, Zeke. Especially as, to my surprise, the article has not progressed beyond being a stub with information predominantly from August 29.Augusthorsesdroppings10 (talk) 19:11, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

It seems like many Iraq-related articles are little more than stubs and in serious need of attention. I think this is probably because WikiProject Iraq is only semi-active. Charles Essie (talk) 21:30, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
