Same series, two articles. 2023–24 SVNS is a month older, but it's unclear which is the correct title. Wikishovel (talk) 00:57, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- I have worked two of these events in the U.S, and I think that these two articles should be merged since they talk about the same sports season. The World Rugby Sevens Series is now called SVNS and their website is svns.com. SFTEXFAN (talk) 03:22, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- I believe they ought to be merged, or at least the "2023–2024 World Rugby SVNS" be erased. The series does not use the name "World Rugby" within the name of the competition, and the page isn't fully created yet. The tournament is simply called "SVNS" and the original page was created before this one. MarioBayo (talk) 12:38, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
- I agree that they should be merged. Bpluke01 (talk) 13:46, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- Merge - please go ahead with the merge, this article is basically empty and appeared first in my search results, making it appear at first as if there was no content on this topic. Greenman (talk) 08:41, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Agree, 2023-24 SVNS article ought to be the parent article as it's actively being edited and maintained. Any of the artciles with "World RUgby" in them ought to redirect to the parent articles without. 74.221.178.242 (talk) 22:58, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
