Performers
editCan we add the full list of performing groups (rather than just the most famous ones)? Didn't Kavinsky, Phoenix (band), Angèle (singer), Vannda, Dr. Dre, and Yseult (singer) also perform? 98.123.38.211 (talk) 20:51, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Sure. Just have to cite it.Sportsnut24 (talk) 00:13, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
Dignitaries
editI think the section should be added back (with sources).

Celebrity categories
editIt seems excessive to add the eponymous categories of every celebrity or singer that performed in some aspect of the closing ceremonies. Tom Cruise's stunt doesn't make the entire ceremony defined by his appearance. Billie Eilish singing one song all the way from California doesn't define it either. Anyone else agree that these should be removed? To me it falls under WP:PERFCAT: "we shouldn't categorize a production by a performer's action or appearance in that production." Thanks.
