Any good reason why this article title is not covering the first film only?

I don't see any good reason why this article title should be about the film series as opposed to the first film -- 3 Ninjas (film). The first film is clearly the WP:Primary topic, and there is no other Wikipedia article title that is simply 3 Ninjas. The sequels to the first film are all disambiguated by their film titles, and this means that the first film does not need WP:Disambiguation. It should simply be under the title 3 Ninjas. The Wikipedia series article title used to be 3 Ninjas (series), and I suggest that it be moved back to that, while the first film simply go by the 3 Ninjas title.

Looks like the article was moved back in 2010. If you are going to restore the status quo though I suggest moving it to 3 Ninjas (film series). Betty Logan (talk) 08:01, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

Yes, Betty Logan. It was first moved in 2010, by MrHighway (talk · contribs), from 3 Ninjas to 3 Ninjas (movie); shown here. Then, in 2012, it was moved from 3 Ninjas (film series) to 3 Ninjas, by Panyd; seen here. I agree with moving it to 3 Ninjas (film series), which is what I proposed above. Oh, and before MrHighway or Panyd moved anything regarding the topic, Seiken Flame created a Wikipedia article about the film series under the title 3 Ninjas. Flyer22 (talk) 08:32, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
