Future developments: MK southern bypass
editIf somebody has time to search for citations (on MKBC and/or MKP websites), there is a pie-in-the-sky proposal to build an MK Southern Bypass that would leave the A421 at the Whaddon roundabout [Coddimoor Ln/Whaddon Rd], swing south of Newton Longville, and join the new A4146 alignment at the roundabout beside the WCML and Drayton Rd. See also Expansion plans for Milton Keynes. Though it might fail WP:not a crystal ball. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 18:57, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Map not working properly
editI've tried to put a map up of the A421 developments, and it is on the Commons, but it will not show up properly unless on the actual page of the image. Can anyone sort it or know of anything to try to fix it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by EricITOworld (talk • contribs) 12:34, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
un-intelligible text
editI have cut this text from the article because I don't know what it means (although I haven't spent too long trying to figure it out! PeterEastern (talk) 10:01, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
==originally from where the B430 starts at Weston on the green to Buckingham then during the 1980's when the Milton Keynes road system began to take it's near present shape. the road was extended east wards with the J13 link it was co-joined to J13 of the M1 then following the route of the A5140 previously the B557 until it reached the southern Kempston bypass. which it followed until it reached the A6 at the end of the then new Elstow bypass
- I think a rough translation is "The A421 originally started on the A43 (now B430) at Weston on the Green, following the route of the current A34 and A41 to Bicester where it followed what is now the A4421 to meet up with its current route at Tingewick." for the first part at least. As for the rest, I have no idea! Jeni (talk) 11:03, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
