Name
editThis page should actually be renamed to AIRPod as that is the spelling directly from the manufacturer's website. Also, I tried to change the existing redirect from AirPod to MDI's page to have it redirect here, but I think wikipedia flagged the edit for vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kjkeefe (talk • contribs) 23:16, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
Air Conditioning?
editIf this vehicle has air conditioning I'm interested. The heat in Atlanta is tropical at times. Its like breathing water its so humid. Being enclosed in a glass/heat amplifying container will not work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wordess (talk • contribs) 10:12, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
- Don't hold your breath. Judging by MDI's record to date it'll never get into production. It probably won't have A/C as such but some part sof the engine run extremely cold (that is one of the problems) so there should be plenty of cold air around. Greglocock (talk) 01:10, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
The production line
editNote that the production line article is a somewhat misleading combination of photos and renderings. The photos show a shed with a concrete floor and some steel structures. Greglocock (talk) 23:39, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
Updated time schedule
editVia private email communication Jun 20 2023, the company response was "...Our best guess is late 2023/early 2024...." Billymac00 (talk) 15:24, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
