40 year ban?
editI notice this episode, shown tonight, was apparently the first time it has been shown in over 40 years. Presumably the storyline featuring an IRA suspect was deemed too controversial. It's probably worth a mention on this page. Pasicles (talk) 20:03, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- BBC Genome - which goes up to 2009 - shows that it was, in fact, repeated in 1971 and 1992. Although some episodes of the 1970 series were repeated extensively between the mid-1980s and 2009, others were almost as absent as Absent Friends, re-appearing only two or three times in the same time period (e.g. Put That Light Out! in 1992 and 2001, or The Two And A Half Feathers in 1985 and 1996). It's also the case that many of the repeats were sporadic and often out of sequence, so it's hard to determine a true picture. Nick Cooper (talk) 16:13, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
