Dates correct?
editChecking the 2000 and 1999 awards in the IMDb, the dates on this page seem to be a year out. Who's right? Jihg 18:45, Jan 20, 2005 (UTC)
- You are right: the dates are a year out. In 1942, the award goes to "Churchill's Island" and in 1943, there were 4 winners. The page must be updated. Mahogaia (talk) 10:36, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- The Internet Movie Database uses the year of the award ceremony. Wikipedia uses the year of the film's release, so they are both right. -ErinHowarth (talk) 00:21, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Grammer?
editShould the word "awards" in the first sentence read "award"? Or say ">>one of<< the most prestigious awards"?
recipient
editARe these awards presented to the producer or the director? Shouldn't they also be listed? -ErinHowarth (talk) 00:22, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- How about we use the source, http://www.oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/1976 shows the producers F. R. Crawley, James Hager and Dale Hartlebe and even has a picture of them choking their Oscars.
- I will change the information that shows the directors Bruce Nyznik and Lawrence Schiller. Kid Bugs (talk) 01:52, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
1942: who won in what category: feature of short?
edit1942 winner for best documentary feature is "The Battle of Midway" - and the same film is also the winner of "Best Documentary (Short Subject)". Which did it win? Only in one I think?--Nedergard (talk) 10:00, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
Cash Prize?
editIs there a cash prize for this award - if so how much? I can't find this information in this article or in the general Academy Awards article — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.209.77.97 (talk) 06:34, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

wrong wikipedia link for a film
editThe item "The White Eagle" for 1942 incorrectly links to the wikipedia page for a 1928 silent film. (I did not find a wikipedia page for the correct film.) The imdb page for what I believe is the correct film is https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0035554/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.1.177.75 (talk) 22:13, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
