editI've removed that template. According to notability guideline for actors, Badra is clearly notable - he appeared in multiple notable films - 10,000 BC, Taken, Public Enemy Number One etc. I agree, Google Search is not very helpful in this case, however, IMDB entry and several reviews prove his notability. --Vejvančický (talk) 11:19, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- I have issues with that standard. I know several people who have appeared in notable movies but they themselves are not wiki worthy. One couple were extras in that Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt spy movie in a scene that took place at a formal dance. IIRC, they were also extras in True Lies. Another gentleman was an extra in that movie with Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin where she basically moves in with him. He too has been an extra in other movies. So, since they have been in notable movies, according to what you are saying, a church sexton, a housewife and a retired pharmacist all are wikiworthy because they appeared in notable movies. What a load of you know what. It SHOULD be what you do in the movie and not just the simple appearance in the movie.Postcard Cathy (talk) 17:04, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- I understand your concerns, but at least one of his roles was major - the warlord in the terrible and successful - the film grossed over $300,000,000 - 10,000 BC. It wasn't just a simple appearance. Take the article to AfD, if you disagree.--Vejvančický (talk) 18:14, 24 April 2009 (UTC) Btw, I'm strongly against spamming Wikipedia with non-notable stuff. Thanks for your opinion, Postcard Cathy. --Vejvančický (talk) 18:14, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
