- ... that Ethiopian–Italian refugee environmentalist Agitu Ideo Gudeta was nicknamed "the Queen of Happy Goats"? Source: "She became a national symbol for environmentalism and integration after Radical Party politician Emma Bonino singled her out as an example of successful integration and courageous female entrepreneurship." (The Telegraph); "La 'regina delle capre felici' è stata uccisa [The 'queen of happy goats' was killed]" ([1])
- ALT1:... that Agitu Ideo Gudeta was nicknamed "the Queen of Happy Goats"?

- Article was new enough and long enough. Both hooks are interesting and cited inline: the Telegraph source was paywalled, but I managed to get around it with the stop loading trick, but it only mentions her goat farm but not her nickname. However, the Italian source mentions it; AGF on the translation, although Google Translate seems to check out. No real preference for which hook is to be used. A QPQ has been performed. Although the article has appeared on ITN, it was on Recent Deaths and so it is still eligible for DYK. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:16, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

"They had allegedly argued about unpaid work."
editDeleted, that's what the murderer says (unpaid work). He is not a trustworthy source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.2.233.195 (talk) 16:33, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
Arbitrary deletion of portions of personal life and death
edit1. On January, 13 2021 19:59, user Yoninah deleted first part (that was there for over 2 weeks and it was not written by me) about (allegedly racist) threats to Agitu and the fact that the man who made them was convicted.
We could have removed only the word "racist" instead if that was proved to not be a confirmed accusation, even if I already added "partially racist".
A few days ago user Black Kite told me to not write things about accusations not proved and confirmed by a conviction of the real guilty; as when he wrote that recommendation there already was a sentence about (allegedly) racist threats (without the rest of the story) and he said nothing about that, I added the fact that the guilty was convicted (around 1 year ago) but whithout confirming those "racist" accusations!
I wrote that also because an already linked web page already reported that fact!
So, I can accept the fact that what followed the sentence about the conviction of that man (e.g. (goats citation, etc.), could be felt as inappropriate (because of the death, wiki rules, etc.) but I guess you should have not deleted all the rest (threats, personal attacks to Agitu and the conviction of that man) too without motivating that choice!
In other words, you should have not deleted the fact that a few years ago she was threatened by a single man (not tens of them) and that that man was convicted for that, because this fact is reported in all web pages linked in Agitu page, otherwise you should also have deleted news about her fleeing abroad to avoid persecutions and arrest too.
- I'm having a little trouble understanding your post. I removed the information about previous threats because Wikipedia is not a journalistic investigation service, and trying to establish some motive for her murder violates WP:SYNTH. Yoninah (talk) 18:37, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- Never mind, I thought that the fact that she was assaulted by one of her neighbours a few years ago might be worth to be reported but it looks like this is not the case. Ade56facc 20:26, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
2. On 17:59, 16 January 2021 user Yoninah deleted this part: It was reported that she had also been raped" because this fact has not been confirmed by referenced source (web page). That's true but only because that web page was written the day after the murder and so that fact could not be confirmed; I did not wrote that part in wiki page but I think that it could have been wiser to replace the referenced source with a newer one reporting that, after some investigation and the confession of the murder, sexual violence has been confirmed.
I was aware that those recent sources (linked web pages) might be too recent to be reliable and I thought to replace a few of them, but this becomes harder as soon as entire parts of facts are repeatedly removed. There are lots of web pages in Italian language reporting that the sexual violence was confirmed but if English web pages do not report this, what can we do? We may add an "allegedly raped" or we may replace the source page. So, please, before deleting a part, put a notice about what is not right for you in order to let people fix things. Ade56facc 20:26, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Ade56facc It is perfectly OK to use non-English sources. Black Kite (talk) 20:30, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Indeed it has been reported that there was a "sexual violence" (underpants removed, etc.) but this type of violence is used for many different acts (rape is one of them); investigators collected many evidences of this and murderer confessed both murder and sexual violence but, as far as I know, the word "rape" ("stupro" in italian) has not been named by investigators. So the fact that she suffered a sexual violence has been confirmed but till now it has not been specified what kind of acts have been committed.
- At this point I guess it's better to wait for the official results of autopsy of her body. Meanwhile I readd a sentence using "sexual violence" instead of "rape" along with a new linked source web page. Ade56facc 22:40, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- 15 April 2021: a full report about results of autopsy has been released but its contents are not publicly available on line; anyway it looks like that someone has commented about the fact that "sexual violence" has been confirmed but "rape" did not happened as stated by the murderer.
