Please note that the Toronto International Film Festival Award for Best Canadian Film is not an award that releases shortlists of "nominees". Every Canadian film that screens at TIFF is always automatically under consideration for the award by virtue of having screened at TIFF at all, so being a "nominee" for that award is not in and of itself a distinction that warrants being mentioned in a film's table of award nominations — it is an award that warrants mention in that context only if a film either wins that award or gets an honorable mention, because every film that screens at TIFF is automatically a "nominee" for all of the appropriate award categories. For the Canadian Screen Awards and the Directors Guild of Canada, shortlists of nominees are selected and named, so nominations are appropriate to list — but when it comes to film festival awards, where every film that screens at the festival is automatically a "nominee" by virtue of having been screened at that festival at all, the table is only supposed to list wins, not "nominations".
