According to Grootkerk it is now Kerem Ben Zimra. Zerotalk 02:35, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
Khalidi, 1992, p.488: "In 1949, Israel established the settlement of Kerem Ben Zimra on village land just to the east, if not on top of, the village site", -Huldra (talk) 02:52, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
- Comparing the contours on a 1939 survey map to the contour lines of Google Maps and amudanan.co.il, the village site was exactly in the middle of the present built-up area of Kerem Ben Zimra. Zerotalk 04:00, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
Gilabrand is removing websites and confusing villages
editGilabrand is removing links to sites such as Palestine Remembered and others which give information about the depopulated localities because she thinks they are "advocacy websites". They are great websites and are based on work by people like Sami Hadawi and Walid Khalidi. Palestine Remembered is used on 700 articles here but based on what she has done in the last days, that number will go down.
She is also confusing this village with another one but she has reverted herself, though only one part, and will check it out. They are not the same. One is in the Jordan Valley in Area C in the West Bank (Khirbet Al-Ras al-Ahmar) and one is where this village once stood, which is the Upper Galilee, where Kerem Ben Zimra now stands. --IRISZOOM (talk) 21:06, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
The article Gilabrand added (Report highlights increasing Israeli demolitions of Palestinian homes) is clear about the location. More info and maps:

There are many more similiar articles about Khirbet Al-Ras al-Ahmar. It is clear that they are different villages. If Gilabrand still does not agree, she has to prove that they are the same. You can not base it on the similar names. It is also troubling that she has only reverted one part as the article still gives the view that it is an existing village that were only conquered by Israel. The part about depopulation is gone. --IRISZOOM (talk) 21:40, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thats correct, the village in the West Bank is not the same as the village in what was northern Palestine. Should be fairly obvious. nableezy - 18:42, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- I started the article on the West Bank village here: Khirbet ar-Ras al-Ahmar. nableezy - 19:10, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- Okay. Great. --IRISZOOM (talk) 00:02, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
