According to the sources cited in S. H. Hodivala, Studies in Mughal Numismatics (Calcutta, 1923): 287, the accession of 'Ālamgir II to the throne was reckoned offically from 1 Sha'bān 1167 (which should fall on or aboutCE 24 May 1754).
