editShould he really be called an ex-atheist after presumably being forced to renounce his atheism under duress? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.84.183.30 (talk) 14:18, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- That's a good question, but for now we can only go by his public position. The article goes on to make the circumstances clear. Khazar2 (talk) 14:53, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
A muslim and an atheist? How's that? 178.216.128.99 (talk) 12:11, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- He's an atheist who publicly converted back to Islam under govt. duress. Khazar2 (talk) 12:20, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
Can we really say it 'sparked national debate'? There has been no debate. --121.216.206.48 (talk) 13:59, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Per the footnote provided immediately after those words, "His case has stoked a debate in the world's most populous Muslim nation." This appears to me an accurate rewording of the source, but I'm up for hearing alternatives. For now, though, since this is sourced content, I'll go ahead and restore it. -- Khazar2 (talk) 14:03, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
