I added the POV template because this article, especially the "political career" section, seem as if they were written with the purpose of drawing her in a better light.

To the person who keeps adding the uncited claim that the allegations against Lugaro are false: please cite your sources and stop deleting the Noticel reference. Truthscribe (talk) 00:16, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
'The lawsuit clearly states it was America Aponte who was the person labeled as a racist and did the discriminating. This is why i dispute it . Tmmusgrove (talk) 02:20, 21 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
The lawsuit was filed against the company America Aponte and Associates. Lugaro was Executive Director of that company.
The following allegations against Lugaro are found in the judgement:
1. Lugaro was aware of the pattern of xenophobic abuse and, as Executive Director, did nothing to stop it.
2. Lugaro took part in the firing of the plaintiff.
3. The firing constituted retaliation in response to the plaintiff stating her intent to file a discrimination lawsuit against the company if the xenophobic abuse didn't stop.
4. Lugaro told the plaintiff that if she proceeded with the lawsuit she would be fired.
