Age
editWhy her age is not in the header? There reads only (born in La Jolla, California). It is though in the infobox. I think tennis players usually have it on the header also. 85.217.41.210 (talk) 08:35, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

edit...before losing to the eventual champion, 3rd seed Lindsay Davenport, a far inferior tennis player who capatilized on Stevenson's off day.
— 65.93.59.15, Samantha Stevenson- highly respected New York Times writer, and tennis expert, revision 635844006
If you wish to describe Lindsay Davenport as "a far inferior tennis player" then you will need to cite a reliable and published source for the claim in the article. Adding "Samantha Stevenson- highly respected New York Times writer, and tennis expert" in the edit summary is not citing the source in the article, and being the mother of the subject of the article, care needs to be taken to maintain the neutral point of view requirement. An unbiased reliable and published third-party source would be ideal.
Are Alexandra's stats up to date in the article? They do not reflect a "superior" player compared to Lindsay Davenport.

These results do not seem to support the claim:
She is generally regarded by experts, fans, and fellow players as the best female tennis player in history.
— 76.64.19.245, Samantha Stevenson, tennis reporter for New York Times and renowned tennis expert, revision 635731948
If this is true, then you should be able to cite several reliable and published sources for such a claim. If you add inaccurate information, this article will be flagged with a factual accuracy warning.

Citation Needed
editMan, this article is full o CiteNeeded tags. One concerns her Sociology degree, saying that the Univ of Colorado doesn't have such a program. However, UC Denver apparently offers an online Sociology degree.https://online.cu.edu/program/online-bachelors/sociology-ba I'm not going to edit the article right now, but the degree does appear legit.--HughieGRex (talk) 22:07, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
