Article name changed
editThis article was moved now so that it is named as she was notable, i.e. known only by her married name. SergeWoodzing (talk) 03:26, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Ancestry
editI deleted the statement that Alice Sommerlath was a descendant of the king Afonso III of Portugal. No source existed and in Alice's daughter Silvia's ancestor tree it lacks 500 years (approximately 15 generations) between the oldest "de Toledo" and the king Afonso III of Portugal. - Hello Svensson1, It lacks 500 years because the work done by William Addams Reitwiesner is not complete, her ancestors are listed in numerous genealogical studies and books published in Portugal and Brazil. I will add more sources later. I can give you one source now: Genealogia Paulistana by Luiz Gonzaga da Silva Leme Regards, Paulista01 (talk) 16:45, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
- Ok. I see that you have added several sources in the article of Alice's daughter Silvia. Svensson1 (talk) 10:47, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Please continue this discussion about her and her royal daughter's ancestry here. I will be deleting all this stuff unless better sources and given, including specific page numbers and quotes. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 17:38, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
Relevance
editHow is this article encyclopedically relevant? The woman is notable for nothing else but being the mother of a celebrity. SergeWoodzing (talk) 09:59, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
