The use of film logos and some screen captures can take away the copyright holder's market use. In this case, intellectual property that has yet to make a profit for producers. To use the copyrighted logo without all ten points needed for fair use is a sign that the uploading editor may not fully understand fair use or wiki's policy and guidelines. The logo has been tagged for deletion. An encyclopedia does not require the logo or even the poster to as illustration and as editors we should not be taking from those that deserve the sole right to copy.--Amadscientist (talk) 03:45, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm not against removing the logo, since it's really nothing special. Alternatively, anyone can load Paint.net and type in American Reunion with a different font. Most likely the words "American Reunion" are not copyrighted or trademarked. —Mike Allen 03:57, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
This logo is not copyrightable, so we do not need a fair use rationale to use it here. Powers T 00:40, 16 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Final Film of the Series?

edit

Does the tagline "Save the best piece for last" indicate this will be the last "American Pie" film? Jeanlovecomputers (talk) 02:03, 9 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter was exactly that. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 10:02, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Europe Release

edit

" It has yet to be theatrically released in Europe which is due for release on early May 2012"

This is untrue.. I know for a fact that it's in almost every cinema in Denmark (as of april the 12th)

Setting of the movie

edit
  • Isn't this supposed to be taking place ten years after the first movie? Michelle was said to be pregnant at the time of the "Band Camp" movie in 2005, and had the baby by the time of "The Naked Mile" in 2006, which would make their son 3-years-old by 2009.
