Pubic Hair

edit

I have to ask - his nudes clearly have pubic hair. I understand Zorn operated at the tail end of the Victorian period and was of course Swedish, but was this controversial at the time? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 19:23, 3 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Training and influences

edit

It is surprising to see no mention of this subject in the biography section or in any other source such as the Zornmuseet site. Since much of Zorn`s portraiture echoes that of John Singer Sargent, one cannot help but imagine a common link to the painter and art instructor Carolus Duran in Paris, famously portrayed by Sargent in 1879. Though Zorn came to Paris later in 1888, it still seems odd that no one has investigated this possible link. Another portrait

edit

Zorn's portrait "Isabella Stewart Gardner in Venice (1894), by Anders Zorn (Gardner Museum)" appears on her page. Can someone link it to Zorn's as well? I haven't learned how to edit yet. Thx Reneeco (talk) 04:21, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
