@Augusthorsesdroppings10:, Adog has made some changes which changed how his death had been. The page has enough caracters. Dr Salvus 11:52, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
  •   New enough and long enough. QPQ not needed—fourth nomination. I will note something: we don't take stubs, but that does mean you need to re-rate the page and remove stub tags (I have done this, as it's no longer a stub). Hook fact checks out to the source. No textual issues. I am fine with "aged 19" (a more British English formulation) in this topic area: "at the age of" would also work well, but that's a varieties of English question. @Sammi Brie: I'd prefer keeping "aged 19". Dr Salvus 08:45, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

GNG?

edit

The subject didn't play a single game in a Premier Tier League (the highest seems to be Serie C in Italy) will probably not make it to further news, doesn't have another link other than to deaths in May 2020 and Rinaldi on Wikipedia Mainspace. Sure tragic and early death, but as to me, we don't need an article on every amateur football player who died.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 20:41, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Paradise Chronicle (sorry for the delay), he made a Serie C (a professional league) appearance in 2018, which is enough for WP:NFOOTY. Dr Salvus 06:44, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I followed your obscure WP:NFOOTY that leads to Notability(sports)#obsolete criteria and there is nothing with an appearance of a Series C but General Notability Guidelines that state Sports biographies must include at least one reference to a source providing significant coverage of the subject, excluding database sources. Meeting this requirement alone does not indicate notability, but it does indicate that there are likely sufficient sources to merit a stand-alone article. Sorry, I wouldn't create an article on such a subject. Two sources (Tutto calciatory and soccerway) are database sources and the rest mention his death. Bring me some better argument, otherwise I nominate it for deletion. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:06, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'll wait with the deletion nomination until the article is off the main page, as it would cause some disruption to our readers to have a deletion template at the beginning of the article. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:19, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Paradise Chronicle The sources do describe what his short career was, not just how he died. Dr Salvus 21:01, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Could you lead me to where it is mentioned that one Serie C appearance is enough for GNG.? Paradise Chronicle (talk) 21:34, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Paradise Chronicle he didn't get coverage when he played. But he did while dead. What about artists unknown in their lives who get famous posthumously? Dr Salvus 07:35, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
A last time, where is it mentioned that a Serie C appearance is enough to make GNG. I can't find it. Wikipedia's basic standards of inclusion are met if they have achieved success in a major international competition at the highest level. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:46, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Paradise Chronicle, ok, open an AFD. Let's see who's right and who's wrong. Dr Salvus 08:53, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
For future reference, NFOOTY is now obsolete. MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 19:43, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
