editI think the name is spelt wrong. It should be Kostsitsyn. Anyone know for sure? Bigdottawa 13:48, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
Never mind, I'm wrong, Kostitsyn is right. Bigdottawa 14:47, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Needless Detail
editDo we really need to know when he scored his first goal of 06-07 for example? Oh, and I don't think we ought to have his 07-08 stats listed until the season is done Dbrodbeck (talk) 14:36, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Nickname
editIn the process of cleaning up the article, I deleted the following sentence about his nickname from the header: Due to the fact that he plays with his brother, his nickname is 'Le Frère André'. I don't follow Kostitsyn or the Canadiens very closely, but I've never heard him referred to by this around the league. I couldn't find proof to support the nickname anywhere and it wasn't sourced, so I've taken it out as I don't think it was significant enough to include in the header either; if anyone objects, it's there to put back in if you can source it. Crime Ring Scandal
editDoes anyone know anything about this? It is supposedly the two Kostitsyn's and Roman Hamrlik who were involved in some sort of Montreal crime ring. Youngbob 007 (talk) 08:47, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well I've added a small paragraph on each of the three articles on the issue with a source from ESPN - though I initially thought it would be better to put in the Canadiens season article instead although that article needs a big update as nothing as being put for both January and February. Sounds like the NHL will probe and meet with police with the matter though La Presse mentionned they were not involved in any criminal activities and other then the NHL, there doesn't seem to be any investigation against the three players planned--JForget 18:32, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
