This article is contradictory regarding the birthplace of Anna Lesko - was it Chişinău or Chernivtsi/Cernăuţi? Also, I have never heard that Anna Lesko lives in New Zealand, she lives in Romania and sings in the Romanian language. This source states that she was born in Chişinău, in the Moldovan SSR. Her ethnic origins are also uncertain: the article states that she is basically 75% Romanian, while the musicmix.ro source claims that, "Originile ei sunt ruso-ucrainiene, dar tatal este pe jumatate moldovean" - her origins are "Russo-Ukrainian" and her father is only "half Moldovan" (in this way, it implies she is only 25% Romanian, and also partly Russian, not just Ukrainian). She lived in Moldova until the age of 17, when she came to Romania and has lived there since. She completed Law School at Bucharest. I think all of these facts have to be cleared up.
