ALT1: ... that an omelette created by Mother Poulard (pictured) is one of the major tourist attractions in Mont-Saint-Michel, France? Source: same

Anne Boutiaut Poulard

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No - ALT0 is misleading since there is an article titled Omelette de la mère Poulard, and the proposed hook would make it seem that the link is pointing to the omelette page. ALT1 is fine for this reason. I wonder if we can clarify where Mont-Saint-Michel is.

QPQ: Done.

Thanks for starting review, Epicgenius, I've added France to ALT1. And yes, I just created the omelette stub this morning, I was thinking the same thing! --valereee (talk) 18:09, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Valereee: No problem. Omelette de la mère Poulard just falls short of eligibility by 500 characters, but if you do have additional information to add to bring it past the 1500-byte limit, I'll check it. Let me know what you think. epicgenius (talk) 19:09, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Epicgenius, that would be great! I don't think I've ever done a double hook. I think I've got it (barely) to the min, and I have another review I can spend if it looks like it's going to make the cut. Thanks! --valereee (talk) 21:20, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Valereee: No problem, here's the review for the omelette article. epicgenius (talk) 01:13, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Overall: ** The "match" in Earwig's copyvio detector is actually the French quote. Not sure if we need that.

    • 1514 characters for the omelette article (minus the quote) and 2600 characters for Mother Poulard article (minus overlapping), means that both are long enough.
  • Epicgenius, I've added the photo to the omelette article, too. It actually fits there, since we included the quote about her recipe. Removed the french version; maybe I'll put it into a note so people can read the original french in case they question the translation. Added the second QPQ above. --valereee (talk) 09:54, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Summoned here by bot; sorry, didn't see it go by. If we wait a little longer I can bring it up to snuff. I'm out of town right now with terrible internet so am not able to do much productive edting. I have no objection to dropping the omelette article to unbolded if anyone's in a hurry, though, either. --valereee (talk) 10:27, 11 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
