There have now been several news stories concerning the emerging legal battle between Homer Laffoon and James Tupper over administration of Anne Heche's estate. I believe this is relevant enough to add a new subsection on (under "Death"), which I've done. Two potentially contentious issues that I want to clarify:
1) I've decided to add the names of both of her sons to the article, as there are a number of news stories from reliable sources discussing their role in the estate battle. I belive that this is in keeping with the stated guidelines under WP:BLPNAME. I'm notifying User:WWGB, since we've discussed this topic before (see Talk:Anne_Heche/Archive_3#Extended-confirmed-protected_edit_request_on_18_August_2022), but I believe the circumstances are now different.
2) I've also linked numerous legal terms in this section; this is not overlinking - I've linked terms with specific legal meanings relevant to this case, including seemingly common ones like "will", "administrator", and "estate", which actually have specific enough meanings directly relevant to this case that they are worth linking to.

UPDATE: There have been quite a few updates in this case since the last edits in this section. Several more motions were filed by James Tupper and Home Laffoon, with Laffoon finally being named General Administrator of the Estate in November. In addition, Heche's estate is now the target of several lawsuits, from both the renter and homeowner of the house that was destroyed in the collision, and by Thomas Jane, who claims that a large personal loan remains unpaid. This information needs to be incorporated into the article, while at the same time, keeping the "Estate" section within the parameters of "due weight" for the article. This may take some time and effort to get sorted. Some possible sources:
