Ant Man movie

edit

Does anyone know if the current Ant-Man, Eric O'Grady, will be in the upcoming movie? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.139.101.6 (talk) 06:59, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Origins

edit

Did this thing start with Saturday Night Live? In the mid 1970's, Ant-Man was a made up comic book hero played by comedian Garret Morris. These sketches are very funny, but they ridicule the superhero, as it was all made up. Lord Milner (talk) 18:34, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Chris McCarthy

edit

If Chris McCarthy appears in the first issue of Eric O'Grady's title, and O'Grady steals the suit from his corpse, why is he listed as the Ant-Man after Eric? 109.152.27.111 (talk) 14:34, 22 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.jpg

edit

File:Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Jumbo Carson

edit

There was a DC Universe character who appears in BATMAN 156 and uses the name Ant-Man. Only about a foot tall, he helps Robin capture a gang of thieves, then makes off with a satchel full of jewels. Later caught and unmask ed by Robin with a helping hand from Professor Hanson, he's revealed to be Jumbo Carson, a gangster thought killed by a rival, who shrunk to his present size when he fell into the lake behind Hanson's lab, where hthe Professor was developing a shrinkage formula. He will probably remain small forever due to the lack of an antidote to the chemical mixture that shrunk him down. The adventures serves as a prologue to the famous two-piece story "Robin Dies at Dawn."Tnarrud3 (talk) 11:20, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
