I will begin a review shortly after my return from holiday on 4 July.--ZKang123 (talk) 11:18, 3 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'll review the Japanese sources in the meantime. Just driving by.

QF:

  • 1,3,4,5 seems to be fine - Only a single revert since the start of the year with it reverting an unsourced addition, No tags, No previous GA nominations...
  • 2 - Sentence "This made her want to..." Is a direct copy from anilist, and the website does not seem to permit this.

Main criteria

edit
  • For 6 - No images are present, but there weren't any available on commons, so I'm going to ignore that.
  • For 2 - I notice how Twitter (Never calling it "x") is used as a source in some areas (ex.19, 26), are you sure there's no other sources that can support this?

Spotchecks -

    • Citation 6 -   In the last sentence of the "Early Life" section, I was unable to find the statement of Aoi answering that she lied that she wanted to be a hairdresser or a pet groomer, although in the source it says that she lied to people that Aoi wanted to be a "radio personality" in high school. "Acting career" section has no problems for citation 6.
    • Citation 16 -   No issues.
    • Citation 17 -   No issues.
    • Citation 34 -   No issues.

Alright, sorry for breaking in, I'll leave the rest for the original reviewer after the spot check is done to not hijack the GAR. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 04:02, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the use of Twitter sources, all of these accounts are the official Twitter accounts of the games in question, so I used them per WP:ABOUTSELF. I tried using alternative sources, including Koga's agency profile or official websites, but at least at the time I couldn't find any. I tried using Twitter only as a last resort. As for the Anilist issue, they copied from us rather than the other way around, so that's not necessarily problematic. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 06:36, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, sorry I missed that since I forgot that mirror existed because of the absence of the template in the talk page. (this is my first time doing this process as well.) I guess I'll change that if that's a last resort. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 07:42, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Regarding Citation 6, it turned out that I had accidentally used the wrong reference from Japanese Wikipedia. I found the actual reference and have added it to the article. The issue is that it's under a paywall and the usual tricks failed, so I have to assume good faith that whoever had access to it used it correctly. Jawiki tends to have very little references but I guess they had one for this article. Noted. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 23:11, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Alright let me review! Thanks to AlphaBetaGamma (talk · contribs) for the source review.

Might suggest: When growing up, she experienced a sense of embarrassment regarding her interest in anime among her peers. • For the filmography section, I might recommend doing a table instead of just a list, as other anime/manga biography GAs do (e.g. Aya Hirano and Aki Toyosaki). But the list itself is fine given how each has a relevant reference and citation.
  • I don't find other issues with the article. While brief, it's still rather broad in coverage about her life and career.

Putting on hold.--ZKang123 (talk) 05:58, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the review. I've done all of the requested grammar/copyediting suggestions. As for the Filmography section, I don't have the technical skills or know-how to turn it into a table so I may have to ask for assistance from another editor for that. Let me know if there is still anything else I need to do. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 11:06, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's fine, at least at GAN stage. Satisfied with all the changes. Passed.--ZKang123 (talk) 00:10, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
