Common clan Name issue
editThere are many clans which are common to more than one caste and in few cases the scope of a clan goes even beyond the boundaries of religion. The articles here on wikipedia are for information and certainly not for a particular caste. Hence please do not remove the sourced information. Still, if there are issues, the same can be discussed here on this talk page. Thanks and regards.--SMahenS (Talk) 15:38, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
Why plural title
editThe actual clan name is Aphariya then why title of the article is Aphariyas, the plural form of the term.--MahenSingha (Talk) 15:44, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

editMy request to all of the readers and editors.
Since this is page is related to a specific cast and regional culture. Please do not remove the reference as it is what was recorded by the British Surveyors. Also, let the reader get unbiased facts. I recently visited aphariya dominated villages in Haryana. They never claimed that they are Jadon Rajput but they are Jadon Ahirs, Jadon is nothing but Yaduvanshi or Jadubanshi. Not all Ahirs belong to the Jadon clan but some do hence it is important to keep the exact term.
Also, what I feel is there are some users like HinduKshatrana, who keep changing removing the citation and denying the facts because the page is linked with Jadon page which mostly having information to jadon rajputs. so I am removing that link.
There are multiple gotras that are common in all four casts (jat, rajput , gurjar, ahir) like bhati , rao, rawat etc. and jadon clan is no different. it's a regional recorded culture and history, that is why I believe anyone who has doubt about any citation should do their own research and form their own opinions.
The curious case of Solankis - they are jats in Haryana & Delhi, Rajputs in UP and they sametime they have ST/SC status in MP and Maharastra.
