This is a highly controversial subject. Naxalites are regarded as terrorists in India and abroad. This articles portrays him as a hero. Also, I am not sure if this person deserves a separate article. I have been closely following the Naxal movement since last few years but I never heard about him. But that just my personal opinion. However, I request that somebody add a relevant template stating that this article is not neutral & and do the needful about merging/redirecting or deleting this article. I am not sure how to do all this as I am new to Wikipedia. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.252.161.96 (talk • contribs)
If you wish to tag the article as being POV, you can do so yourself by adding {{POV|date=December}} to the top of the article; I'll take a look at the article now and see if there's any POV wording which needs fixing. GiftigerWunsch[TALK]11:31, 29 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've just stripped the article down to the basic information, because it was making wild unreferenced accusations about various groups of people, some of which may well still be alive. Thanks for pointing this out. Feel free to expand on the article, but be sure to make sure any information added is neutral and verifiable in reliable sources. Note that stating a group are regarded as terrorists, for example, is weasel wording unless well-established in multiple reliable sources, such as newspaper articles. (Though such references seem to be readily available at the Naxalite article). GiftigerWunsch[TALK]11:37, 29 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your quick help and consideration, mates. I know I cant be neutral about this topic (I am strongly anti-naxal) so I wont be adding anything to it. Thats why I didn't edited the article in the first place. Peace. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.252.161.96 (talk) 11:54, 29 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I am neither anti- nor pro- naxals. Having said that, I am removing the deletion tag. Nxal Verghese is a well known personality in India; more than enough to deserve his own page. Nshuks7 (talk) 13:53, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
