editThere are various ills that plague humanity. Day to day problems hinder our progress. They detract us from reaching our ultimate goal. Often one finds himself at cross-roads unable to move forward. He often finds the need for guidance, the guidance that would show him or her the way to a life of perfection.
When a devotee conveys his or her prayer in the words of Arunagiri, the direct disciple of the God, such a prayer is sure to be heard and answered. It is a simple and pleasing form of prayer anyone can adopt as a regular way of worship.
opens our eyes and tells us where to find it.
One need not take trouble to find it anywhere else. It is very much within us. It is not the world around you but the world within you that shows the way to happiness. The Thiruppugazh verses convey the message: “Adopt Thiruppugazh way to happiness”.
Muruga conjures up vision of a Lord of love and compassion, the Lord who is the source of all knowledge, who is all powerful, and who is the embodiment of beauty. The book: “Thiruppugazh: Glory to Lord Muruga” gives a vivid description of Muruga and His magnificent qualities. His weapon, lance, known as Vel, protects devotees from adversities. Muruga exercises enormous influence in the life of people. He lives in their heart, protecting them, leading them and guiding them and inspiring them.
is the count correct?
editI think, you have mistaken THIRUPPUKAZH with THIRUKKURAL. Because, it says only 1330 thirupukazh is available now.ponnambalamwell known as santhosh janardhanan | talk me 06:31, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
