Dominé?

Wasn't this called "Astronomy Dominé" in the LP release? – Hattrem (talk) 03:11, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

See first paragraph of the article. The title with an accented "e" appeared in a list of titles from their live set, written in Syd's handwriting, which has been frequently reproduced in books. I don't believe it was ever used on an official release. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 13:45, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ni Ni. Yes, and Roger pronounced it like that in a spoken intro from the stage. Not like "domign" nor "domaine." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.13.188.158 (talk) 22:13, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

It is how Roger pronounced it. It did have the accent on it on both the original mono and stereo vinyl albums on both the cover and the label. However, it did not have, on either the cover or label of Ummagumma. Mysteriously, the accent resurfaced on the cover and label of A Nice Pair but hasn't appeared on any CDs. It's spelled Astronomy Dominé, with the french accent aigu, on the original disk release and also on the CD re-release available now on Amazon. It's also how it was pronounced by band members. I think the accented version should be considered the "official" spelling and the wiki page ought to be fixed accordingly. Florin Andrei (talk) 03:14, 15 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
