Oldest internet user

edit

I notice that both Audrey Stubbart and Katherine Young were the oldest internet users. I'd say something like 'only on wikipedia would you find such obvious contradictions' But this is the internet after all.

Perhaps someone should figure out if either were actually the oldest internet users. Or better yet, explain why that is even worth mentioning? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.146.8.98 (talk) 23:17, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

A point to note here is that the article on Katherine Young does not have even a single reference.-Ravichandar 01:57, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jeanne Calment went online at age 121. Lots of older internet users are there...a woman in Florida was 109, then there was the 108-year-old blogger.Ryoung122 21:23, 4 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Remembering Audrey

edit

I worked at The Examiner from 1999 to 2001, and I remember Audrey well. Intelligent, vivacious, an excellent conversationalist, and one of the "classiest" people I ever met. RIP, Audrey! Ecjmartin (talk) 00:17, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Donald is middle son, Veryl is oldest

edit

I am one of Audrey's many grandchildren and am, coincidentally, a technical writer for online help systems.

I definitely inherited Grandmother's perfectionistic tendencies.

This article stated that Uncle Donald is the eldest son, but that is incorrect. My father, Kenneth, is the youngest, and - going up the line - we have Carol, Donald, Veryl, and then Enid, who passed away a few years ago.

Therefore, I changed the word "eldest" to "middle" in the article.
