editA fine start. The text seems a bit choppy - too many paragraphs of only a sentence or two. Might be good to condense it somewhat. Also, I'd suggest taking a look at WP:Footnotes, which explains better ways to cite sources without it taking up half the page. Cheers. LordAmeth 09:43, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

- Also, the references should be formatted with <ref> </ref> tags, so that the footnotes are directly linked in the text. The article also needs an infobox, the code for which can be found here: {{Infobox Military Person}}. Parsecboy (talk) 03:13, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
