a copywright concern was raised over the original text, on review of the options available I have edited the text to new wording and deleted the original wording which I confirm had been copied from the museum website as I am the Secretary and webmaster of the site http://www.aarg.com.au and therefore had authority to use. This new text however should resolve any concern in anycase.
Thank you for being willing to add your text to Wikipedia. Please note, however, that Wikipedia is a collaborative effort to generate a free-content encyclopedia. Free content is content that has no significant restrictions on reuse including, but not limited to, commercial reuse and resale and derivative works (modifications). Since it is not clear that the text used by you from http://www.aarg.com.au is licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License (the free license all Wikipedia text is licensed under), I've rewritten the article.
Also, please be advised of Wikipedia's guideline titled "conflict of interest". In short, we strongly encourage editors to not edit topics for which they have an interest in promoting or profiting from. Our goal is to create a neutral and well-referenced encyclopedia, and this guideline is one part of that mission. Again, thank you for your willingness to contribute. butseriouslyfolks, thanks for your rewrite of the entry, I wasnt wishing to establish a conflict of interest, but had added our Desoutter II aircraft as a survivor on a page relating to that aircraft type, and already listed the other two surviving examples, so I thought I would add and correct that by including reference to our example, at the Australian National Aviation Museum, wikepedia then placed the museum's name in highlights and when I clicked on it the page invited me to provide information on that topic, at the time the easiest way for me to do so was to cut and paste from our museum website. Obviously you can see I am a wikipedia "newbie" and have a lot to learn in wording, layout and wikipedia "ettiquette, but glad to contribute and support such a great site. regards - (124.176.185.16313:39, 23 June 2007 (UTC))Reply
