Rogue Rubin age
editI have seen a few editors changing the age of Rogue Rubin on the Wikipedia page. They have been using an Express.co.uk tabloid news article, ones which are notorious for incorrect information like ages, names etcetera as a reason to have her age as 32. This article (https://www.smh.com.au/culture/movies/i-did-everything-mum-told-me-not-to-a-melburnian-s-undercover-quest-to-save-lions-20211027-p593lv.html) is an exclusive interview with Rogue from just over 1 year ago for the Sydney Morning Herald, a premier Australian news interview and newspaper, that clearly dates Rogue's DOB as 1982. Therefore, Rogue is 40-41. The same editor is also saying the job description is wrong when Animal Activist is what is shown on the screen during Rogue's confessionals, which is what we go on. I ask the editor to stop referencing this ill-informed Express.co.uk piece, and changing her job from Animal Activist when that is what comes up on screen during the show. Rogue's IMDB shows she has been working in production/film since 2007, if that same editor thinks she is 32, does the poster believe she has been working in production/film since the age of 16-17? Come on. Kiwi Jaden (talk) 16:39, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
- I can't speak to the article you shared, but I know Rogue and she's the one trying to correct the age. Please let the correction stand. Thank you. MollyMoxenFree (talk) 23:00, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
- KIWI JADEN - I WORK FOR ROGUE AND NOWHERE IS IT LISTED IN THE ARTICLE you mention - her age - if you want to ask her personally email her at her website - but we are certainly not handing over information to someone we do not know on the internet - when you do email please send your driver's license as proof of your ID. Also, it is slander to call CALL THE EXPRESS PAPER second rate because you do not like it. NOW STOP! YOU HAVE ZERO INFORMATION COMPARED TO PEOPLE WORKING FOR HER - YOU are just someone who watches a show. STOP!!!! Plebby (talk) 08:58, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- REFERRING TO YOUR COMMENT ON the Express v's Sydney Morning Herald - she never gave KARL her age - he made it up! I know this because I WAS THERE! So call Karl or reach out to Rogue but STOP with your vandalism. Plebby (talk) 09:18, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
- I have reviewed both the Sydney Morning Herald article, which states that Rubin was 14 in 1996, and the Daily Express article, which states she is 32. Since the Daily Express has been deemed by the community to be unreliable (see WP:Reliable sources#Perennial sources), the article must go with what the SMH states. Any correction must come from published sources of equal or superior reliability, and Wikipedia policy weighs independent sources more heavily that sources with a connection to the subject. We need to get it right, but we need to do so according to what is verifiable in reliable sources. —C.Fred (talk) 12:54, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
