Dates of birth and death

The dates mentioned in the section about this subject do not include the dates mentioned in the biography section. I have a source that states that he passed away in 1030 A.H. (c. 1621 A.D.), when he was 78 years old. Can someone clear this up? Wiki-uk (talk) 14:39, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

His race/nationality

The source absolutely does not mention that he was Arab. I don't know how one can conclude that he was an Arab scholar?

Simply because he was born in Lebanon? that makes him Lebanese. Referring to his works and poems, majority are in Persian/Farsi (all in public domain), he grew up where is currently considered Iran and he died in Isfahan, Iran.

I'd like to hear more views on this part, else I'll remove the "Arab" word.

I agree with the above, nothing in his biography shows clearly that he can be listed as Arab, there are far more evidences pointing a Persian ethnicity (it's said so on the Wikipedia in french and the source seams to be IRIB...). Another issue is his "invention of sangak" (i removed it) because unsourced. Was his ancestor Al-Harith al-Hamdani Persian as well? Oh wait, Wikipedia does say he is persian!! This is why you shouldn't trust everything writing here, Al-Harith so as his descendants are from "Hamdan" tribe of northern Yemen not "Hamadan" of Persia. a little research would explain everything to you.--Krzys Kurd (talk) 07:45, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

Influenced Haydar Amuli?
