Is this notable?
edit- @Sitush: Before I go ahead and nominate this article for deletion, Sitush, what is your opinion about this article? This Jat clan exists that doesn't mean it is notable enough to have it's own article. I don't think the subject is notable. What do you say, Sitush? Jim Carter 09:50, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- Not notable as a clan but it could be converted into a list of notable people bearing the name Baidwan (there are quite a few). We would have to ensure that the article does not attempt to connect the name to the clan because of WP:BLP / WP:V. - Sitush (talk) 09:54, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Sitush: Can we convert it into a dab page? Where we can add names of notable peoples bearing "Baidwan" surname? I don't think that dab pages should follow any policies other than WP:DAB. Jim Carter 10:08, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
- That is pretty much what I would do, yes. - Sitush (talk) 10:11, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

List or Disambiguation page?
edit@GTrang: Is this page a List or Disambiguation page?
If this is a list does it pass notability for a stand-alone list? Vestrian24Bio (TALK) 14:46, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Vestrian24Bio: Technically, Baidwan is a surname article, which is a type of set index article, not a disambiguation page. It could also be considered a list article, whose individual members need to be notable. As a surname article, I suppose that it will likely be kept if it is nominated at AfD.
